Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson welcomed the US President’s decision to supply modern weapons to Ukraine, assuring that his country would facilitate the rapid and sufficient delivery of this aid.
The Swedish Prime Minister wrote about this on his official page on X, Ukrinform reports.
“I welcome President Trump’s important decision to make it possible to deliver more advanced weapons to Ukraine and to significantly increase the economic pressure on Russia,” he stressed.
The Prime Minister stressed that Sweden, as a member of NATO and one of the largest donors to our country, “will continue to contribute to swift and substantial deliveries to Ukraine”.
At the same time, Kristersson pointed out that time is of the essence.
“The sooner we all unite in forcing Russia to end its brutal war against Ukraine, the more lives will be saved,” the Swedish Prime Minister concluded.
As reported by Ukrinform, Donald Trump and Mark Rutte met in Washington on Monday. They announced that the United States and NATO had reached an agreement to provide Ukraine with billions of dollars in military aid.
