
In the marketing year 2024/2025, a total of 23.5 thousand tonnes of Ukrainian-produced flour went towards Moldova.
The relevant statement was made by Millers of Ukraine Union on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The share of wheat flour in the export structure of the marketing year 2024/2025 reduced to 66.7 thousand tonnes (compared to 92.5 thousand tonnes in the previous season). About 46% of exports went towards EU countries.
The major importers of Ukrainian-produced wheat flour included Moldova (20.3 thousand tonnes), the Czech Republic (15.3 thousand tonnes), Palestine (10.8 thousand tonnes), France (3.0 thousand tonnes), and Spain (2.9 thousand tonnes).
Additionally, in the marketing year 2024/2025, Ukraine exported 4.6 thousand tonnes of other varieties of flour (compared to 5.4 thousand tonnes in the previous season). The share of EU countries in export volumes reached 14% (compared to 27% in the marketing year 2023/2024).
Here, Moldova also took the lead, having imported 3.2 thousand tonnes. The rest of flour exports went towards Israel (0.5 thousand tonnes), Croatia (0.2 thousand tonnes), Bulgaria (0.1 thousand tonnes), and Spain (0.1 thousand tonnes).
A reminder that Ukraine and China are working to intensify agricultural exports. Five bilateral protocols are being prepared to unlock the Chinese market for Ukrainian-produced flour, feed, and poultry meat.
