Russian forces attack ambulance in Kharkiv region, injuring medical workers

Early on July 16, Russian forces struck an ambulance with a drone, injuring two medical workers.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region via Telegram.

“On July 16 around 9:00, the Kupiansk District Police Department received a report that an enemy FPV drone hit an emergency medical vehicle at one of the crossings. As a result of the attack, two medics, aged 53 and 59, were injured,” the statement said.

The injuries did not require hospitalization.

Investigators have launched a criminal case under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of the laws and customs of war.

As previously reported, in the evening of July 13, a Russian drone struck a police service vehicle near one of the crossings in Kupiansk community, injuring four law enforcement officers.
