
Overnight on July 17, a Russian drone attack on the city of Dnipro killed one person and injured five others.
This was reported on Facebook by Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
According to him, Ukraine’s air defense forces managed to destroy 22 Russian drones overnight, but some strikes still hit their targets.
The city of Dnipro came under massive enemy attack. One person was killed and five others were injured.
The attack also triggered multiple fires and damaged industrial facilities.
According to the regional head, fires broke out in Solone and Slobozhanske communities of Dnipro district. A utility building and a greenhouse were damaged.
In the town of Nikopol and Marhanets community, the enemy used FPV drones, Grad multiple rocket launchers, and dropped munitions from drones. A private house and a utility building were damaged, and a vehicle caught fire. Five more people were injured.
In Mezhova community of Synelnykove district, Russian forces carried out strikes with FPV drones, damaging infrastructure.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian forces launched two drone attacks at the city of Dnipro throughout the night on July 17.
