In the morning of July 18, 2025, at 5:30, Russian forces launched a targeted strike with an FPV drone on a volunteer organization’s vehicle involved in the evacuation of civilians from Rodynske.

Just thirty minutes later, Russian troops attacked Kostiantynivka using FAB-250 aerial bombs equipped with a UMPC (Universal Gliding and Correction Module). One of three airstrikes hit a residential building, killing a 66-year-old woman in her home. A 64-year-old man was also injured, suffering a blast injury and multiple shrapnel wounds to the head.

The attacks damaged 16 private homes, vehicles, and a gas pipeline.
