Enemy shelles Central Market and residential areas in Kherson at night

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration on Telegram, which released a video showing the aftermath of the shelling.

“At night, Russian terrorists once again struck the Central Market. Residential areas of the Korabelny district were under enemy fire,” the report said.

According to one of the residents, whose home was damaged by the night shelling, this is the second “attack” they have experienced. She and her sick husband, who has suffered a stroke, cannot leave their home, so they need physical assistance to deal with the aftermath of the shelling.

As noted, social workers from the Kherson City Military Administration visited the sites of the “strikes.” The victims were provided with the necessary consultations and priority measures were planned to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.

Volunteers from the Peaceful Sky of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation and the Strong and Free Public Organization are involved in the work. The Kherson Parks municipal enterprise is providing a large container for collecting construction debris, and the windows will be closed by employees of the Kherson Regional Municipal Emergency and Rescue Service (HOKARS).

According to the CMA, seven settlements in the Kherson community were hit by enemy strikes over the past day. Kherson, Zymivnyk, Molodizhne, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Naddnipryanske, and Antonivka came under fire from Russian artillery and drone terror.

In particular, social and civil infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed, including a high-rise building, private houses, a farm building, a public transport stop, and a car. As a result of Russian attacks in the Kherson community, eight people were injured.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the Kherson region, one person was killed and nine people were injured as a result of Russian aggression during the day on July 17.

At night, the occupiers fired artillery at the market area in Kherson. A public transport stop, a mobile shelter, a private house, a kiosk, and the road surface were damaged.
