A meeting in person between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia should be held next month.

According to a Ukrinform correspondent, this opinion was expressed by Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office Oleksandr Bevz, after the meeting between the negotiating teams of Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul.

“Any day this month works for our partners, including the U.S., and aligns with the deadline President Trump set for reaching a solution,” Bevz said.

According to him, during the last round of negotiations in Istanbul, Ukraine already proposed holding a meeting at the highest level. “This time, we also proposed holding a leaders’ meeting because we understand that fundamental problems can only be solved at this level,” the Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office noted.
