Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, and U.S. Air Force General Alexus Grynkewich, NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe, held working-level talks and discussed the situation on the frontline in detail.
According to Ukrinform, Syrskyi reported this on Facebook.
Also participating in the comprehensive discussions were Major General Andriy Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and Lieutenant General Curtis Buzzard, Commander of NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU).
Syrskyi noted that Russian forces have already mobilized the maximum amount of human and material resources in pursuit of their aggressive plans.

“The Allies fully understand the scale and complexity of the tasks facing the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, the Ukrainian army retains the conventional potential to defeat the enemy’s offensive groups,” he emphasized.
The two sides also discussed the U.S. and NATO plan to provide Ukraine with air defense systems funded by European countries.

“We are thankful for President Donald Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte’s leadership to get us these systems quickly. They are coming!” Syrskyi noted.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, General Syrskyi recently met with Chair of the EU Military Committee, General Sean Clancy, to discuss the protection of Ukraine’s sky, and the supply of artillery ammunition and missiles.
