The information disseminated by Russian media outlets that the Ukrainian Embassy in Peru is allegedly recruiting mercenaries for the 25th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and that candidates must have high physical fitness, motivation, military experience, and knowledge of working with UAVs, is false.
This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications (CSC) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to Ukrinform.
“In fact, there are no links on the website of the Ukrainian Embassy in Peru to platforms for recruitment into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There is no evidence of the existence of such an announcement,” the Center for Strategic Communications said.
It is noted that the embassy disseminates information on ways to support Ukraine – donations, humanitarian aid, and the reception of refugees.
“There are also links for those who wish to voluntarily join the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine. However, this information has been published on the resources of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2022,” the institution explained.
As reported, the Center for Strategic Communications stated that the information that Putin’s helicopter in the Kursk region was attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a lie.
