A nighttime Russian missile strike on the city of Kamianske in the Dnipropetrovsk region damaged a maternity and therapeutic ward. Windows were shattered in two additional medical facilities, while schools, a kindergarten, and nearly 50 residential buildings also sustained damage.
Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.
He noted that efforts are underway in Kamianske to address the aftermath of the nighttime missile strike. Damage assessments are ongoing, with experts evaluating the extent of destruction to the maternity and therapeutic wards. According to Lysak, not only were the hospital premises affected, but medical equipment and supplies were also destroyed. Patients from the damaged departments have been relocated to other facilities.
“Windows were shattered in two additional medical institutions. Several schools and a kindergarten sustained damage. Nearly 50 residential buildings were impacted, and local authorities are distributing construction materials to homeowners for urgent repairs,” he wrote.
As earlier reported, the Russian missile strike on Kamianske killed three people, including a pregnant woman.
