
On August 1, one person was killed and nine others wounded in the Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression.
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, shared the information via Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Due to Russian aggression, one person was killed and nine others were injured,” Prokudin wrote.
According to him, Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas across the region. The shelling damaged two high-rise buildings, 17 private homes, and several civilian vehicles.
In total, the city of Kherson and 33 other settlements were subjected to drone attacks, artillery shelling, and airstrikes throughout the day.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, a woman—a mother of three—was killed in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson on the morning of August 1 following Russian artillery fire.
