Russian troops shelled Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, using cannon artillery, damaging multiple civilian infrastructure sites.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kostiantynivka City Military Administration, Serhiy Horbunov, wrote this in a Facebook post.
“This afternoon, Kostiantynivka came under enemy fire from cannon artillery. Fortunately, there were no civilian casualties. However, several civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged,” Horbunov wrote.

He specified that the facades of high-rise buildings, a private house, the Kostiantynivka secondary school, and gas pipelines were among the damaged structures.
Horbunov emphasized that the enemy continues to target civilian infrastructure and urged residents to evacuate for their safety.
As reported earlier, on August 3, Russian forces killed two civilians and wounded five in the Donetsk region.
