
The Head of Energy Customs, Anatolii Komar, has been temporarily suspended from his duties.
This was reported by the State Customs Service in Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
It is noted that, by the instructions of the state leadership, the agency is verifying the facts presented regarding Komar, in particular in journalistic investigations. The verification is being conducted jointly with the Ministry of Finance, with the participation of the National Agency for Corruption Prevention and law enforcement agencies.
“Given this, the State Customs Service has decided to open disciplinary proceedings against Anatolii Komar and suspend him from his official duties,” the agency said.
The service emphasized that it is acting within its powers and by the principles of legality, integrity, and transparency.
As reported, investigative journalists have revealed that after the start of the full-scale war, the family of the Head of the Energy Customs Service, Komar, allegedly built a mansion worth UAH 70 million in the suburbs of Kyiv.
On August 4, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko instructed to verify the facts presented in the journalistic investigations concerning Komar.
