Houses and critical infrastructure damaged in Lozova due to massive attack, one dead and several injured

In Lozova, Kharkiv Region, a massive Russian attack has caused damage and injured people, including two children.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Serhiy Zelenskiy, Head of the Lozova City Territorial Community.

According to him, “Lozova has experienced the most massive attack since the beginning of the war. Critical infrastructure, high-rise buildings, and the private sector have been damaged. Unfortunately, there are wounded, including two children.”

Rescuers, medics, and emergency services are working to assess the damage.

“We are restoring the water supply. Part of the city remains without electricity, in particular Avylivka, as well as the Katerynivka District,” Zelenskiy said.

He urged residents to report any damage.

As a result of a massive Russian strike, the railway station was damaged, a mechanic was killed, and four other railway workers were injured, the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine “Ukrzaliznytsia” reported.

Russian occupiers launched a massive strike on the railway infrastructure in Lozova. As a result of the enemy attack, the railway station and other infrastructure facilities were damaged. Most people managed to take shelter, but there are casualties.

A mechanic from one of the units was killed, and four other railway workers were injured. All victims are receiving the necessary medical assistance, according to the report.

Due to the attack, train No. 66/65-166/165 Uman — Cherkasy — Kharkiv is running on a detour route.

“The same applies to other trains in the Kramatorsk sector; the detour under a reserve diesel locomotive will cause a delay of up to an hour. Passengers from/to Lozova will be transported by buses to trains in Paniutyne,” Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized.

Train No. 6812 Sloviansk-Lozova will run to the station Blyzniuky (instead of Lozova).

Train No. 6822 will run on the route Lymanivka — Kharkiv-Pasazhyrskyi (instead of Lozova — Kharkiv-Pasazhyrskyi), and train No. 6825/6815 will run on the route Kharkiv-Pasazhyrskyi — Lymanivka (instead of Kharkiv-Pasazhyrskyi — Sloviansk).

In addition, train No. 6414 Lozova — Kharkiv-Pasazhyrskyi has been canceled.

Ukrinform reported that on August 4, the Russian army struck the Chuhuiv District of the Kharkiv Region, killing three civilians.
