Russia launches 110 strikes on Sumy region over past 24 hours

Between the morning of August 4 and the morning of August 5, Russian forces carried out 110 strikes across 36 settlements in Ukraine’s northeastern Sumy region.

According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration announced this on Facebook.

The highest number of attacks were registered in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

Russian troops conducted 25 VOG grenade drops from drones, launched 45 strikes with guided aerial bombs, and also attacked using FPV drones and other types of UAVs.

In the Mykolaivka settlement community, a non-residential building was damaged.

Over the past day, 19 more people were evacuated from border communities in the Sumy region.
