All partners support the idea that issues concerning the integrity of Ukrainian territory cannot be resolved without Ukraine.

This was emphasized by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Berlin, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“The success of any negotiations depends primarily on the outcome and the mood. Right now, we are completely united, and the mood is very positive. All partners have demonstrated a single voice, a single desire, a single set of principles, and a single vision. This mood is already an important step forward,” Zelensky said.

He stressed that all partners support the idea that key issues, such as the integrity of Ukrainian territory, cannot be resolved without Ukraine.

“In any case, key issues… regarding our principles, regarding our territorial integrity, are ultimately decided at the leadership level. It is impossible to resolve this without Ukraine. And, by the way, everyone also supports this,” the president emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky met with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Berlin on August 13. After that, they will participate in a video conference with European leaders, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and US President Donald Trump.
