Defense Forces: Russians try to gain a foothold in Maiak in Dobropillia sector

“In the Dobropillia sector, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Stepanivka, Volodymyrivka, Zapovidne, Rusyn Yar, and Fedorivka. The enemy is trying to gain a foothold in the village of Maiak, and measures to eliminate the enemy are continuing,” the report said.

In the Southern Slobozhanshcyna sector, enemy offensive actions were concentrated in Vovchansk. Defenders repelled all attacks by the occupiers.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy’s endeavors to enhance their tactical disposition in the vicinity of Fyholivka and Holubivka were successfully thwarted. The enemy continues to try to infiltrate and consolidate their positions in Kupiansk using small assault groups. The defenders repelled all enemy attempts.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled all attacks by the invaders near Druzheliubivka, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Torske, Stavky, and in the Serebrianka woodland.

In the Siversk sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Hryhorivka, Vyimka, and Serebrianka.

In the Kramatorsk and Toretsk sectors, the occupiers targeted Ukrainian positions near Stupochky, Pleshchiivka, and Katerynivka. Defence Forces fought back and forced the enemy to retreat with losses.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the occupiers continue their attempts to block the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration. Offensive actions were spotted in the areas of the settlements of Biletske, Novoekonomichne, Myrnohrad, Promin, Krasnyi Lyman, Novoukrainka, and Zvirove. The enemy concentrated its efforts on capturing Rodynske. Over the past day, they carried out at least seven unsuccessful assaults. Defense Forces are holding back the offensive, destroying the enemy’s superior forces.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the occupiers concentrated their attacks in the areas of Tolstoi, Maliivka, Novoheorhiivka, Komyshuvakha, Zaporizke, and Piddubne. Heavy fighting continues, with the enemy attempting to advance regardless of losses.

In the Huliaipole sector, the enemy launched an unsuccessful attack on Poltavka.

As reported by Ukrinform, the situation in the Dobropillia sector is stabilizing, and Ukrainian Defense Forces are taking the necessary measures to detect and destroy groups of Russian occupiers.
