European leaders who traveled to Washington for expanded negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump on ending the war in Ukraine have begun arriving at the White House.
According to Ukrinform’s correspondent in Washington, the first motorcades reached the South Lawn entrance to the presidential residence around noon local time.



The meeting between the European leaders and Trump is expected to take place after his bilateral talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office.
As reported earlier, participants in the expanded-format talks are expected to include European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, French President Emmanuel Macron, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
