In the area of Lyptsi, Kharkiv region, Russian troops have intensified their actions, but failed to advance — they were stopped. Lyptsi remains under the control of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Oleh Sushynskyi, spokesperson for the Kharkiv Operational and Tactical Group, said this on Ukrainian television, Ukrinform reports.
“We can see the Russians becoming more active in the Lyptsi area. Back in May, our units liberated a forested area north of Lyptsi, and the enemy suffered very heavy losses in manpower and armored vehicles,” Sushynskyi said.
According to him, the situation on this section of the front is currently stable.
“The enemy was stopped there [in the Lyptsi area], and there has been no advance,” he said.
Sushynskyi stressed that Lyptsi remains under the control of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
