Kyiv sends 6,000 more drones to Ukrainian defenders

The Kyiv city community has delivered another 6,000 drones of various types to fighters of the 3rd Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on Telegram.

Part of the batch will go to the 3rd Assault Brigade, which is part of the corps.

Klitschko noted that since the beginning of the year, Kyiv has allocated UAH 400 million from its budget to equip the 3rd Brigade. This winter, the city handed over a modern mobile FPV drone training school built on a refurbished MAZ bus.

Last year, the 3rd Assault Brigade received more than 10,000 drones and 20 new Toyota Hilux pickups purchased with Kyiv’s funds.

Overall, Kyiv City Council has already allocated UAH 6 billion this year to support defenders. More than 40,000 drones have been supplied to various brigades on the front.

The Kyiv city community recently delivered 900 drones to fighters of the 5th Separate Kyiv Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
