The two leaders also discussed defense cooperation.

“We are grateful for Estonia’s strategic decision to allocate 0.3% of its GDP to support Ukraine and for its readiness to work on joint projects. Timely delivery of EUR 100 million in assistance in the form of products from Estonian manufacturers is essential. We also have the potential for expanding joint procurement, including through the SAFE mechanism,” Svyrydenko said.

Both sides agreed to meet in person at the earliest opportunity.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Nordic-Baltic Eight for their unwavering support for Ukraine and shared the group’s joint address to the international community.
