
Russian troops carried out two overnight strikes on the city of Zaporizhzhia, damaging industrial facilities and nearby residential buildings.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“The enemy launched two strikes on Zaporizhzhia. Several industrial infrastructure facilities were damaged. The blast wave also shattered windows and caused damage to nearby residential buildings,” Fedorov wrote.
Utility crews are already working at the affected sites.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, though details are still being clarified.
As reported earlier, Russian forces launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine overnight, using both missiles and drones. An air raid alert was declared across the country.
