U.S. President Donald Trump compared himself to Vice President Richard Nixon and Russian dictator Putin to Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev.
Trump posted the photos on Thursday on his social media account Truth Social, Ukrinform reports.
In the first photo, Trump points his finger at Putin during their meeting in Alaska last Friday. And the second famous historical photo is the 1959 Kitchen Debate between Nixon and Khrushchev.
In this way, Trump compared himself to Nixon, who had a heated debate with the Kremlin leader during the Cold War.
Trump did not add any comments or explanations to the post.
As is well known, the photo of Nixon and Khrushchev was taken during the American National Exhibition in Moscow in July 1959. At that time, both politicians emotionally debated the advantages of their political systems, and this image went down in history as a symbol of the confrontation between the two superpowers.
