President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi are working at their level on the military component of Ukraine’s security guarantees.
He said this in his evening address, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“National security advisors are actively engaged—there was a discussion yesterday, and today there’s been a lot of communication as well. At their level, the military—the Commander-in-Chief and the General Staff—are working on the military component of Ukraine’s security guarantees,” he said.
According to Zelensky, each day adds new contours to Ukraine’s future security architecture.
“Weapons, funding, cooperation with our partners, forces on land, in the air, and at sea. And every day, there will be new steps from our partners in support of Ukraine—I’ll have plenty of diplomatic work ahead. I’m grateful to everyone who stands with us, who stands with Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine,” Zelensky emphasized.
As earlier reported, around ten countries have expressed readiness to send military personnel to Ukraine as part of international security guarantees once hostilities have ended.
