Two young people aged 21 and 22 were rescued from the temporarily occupied Crimea as part of the initiative of the President of Ukraine, Bring Kids Back UA.
According to Ukrinform, the Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, announced this in Telegram.
According to him, “the boys grew up under the circumstances of occupation, felt constant pressure and humiliation. They did not have the opportunity to leave for a long time”.
“Now, they are at home, in free Ukraine. Together with relatives. And with the right to own their future”, Yermak said.
He thanked the Ukrainian Child Rights Network and all partners for their support.
“We are fulfilling the task of the President to return all our children”, Yermak emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, a young couple with a baby moved to the territory controlled by Ukraine from the part of the Kherson region temporarily captured by the Russians.
