In temporarily occupied Sevastopol, a Russian patrol boat guarded the entrance to Striletska Bay.
This was reported by the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform.
It is noted that the entrance to the bay is blocked by boom barriers, to which the patrol boat of project 03160 Raptor is moored. The task of Raptor includes patrolling the water area, defending Navy bases, ensuring the safety of ships on unprotected raids, detecting, intercepting, and detaining small targets, and carrying out search and rescue operations.
In addition to patrolling and guarding, one of the main tasks of Raptor boats is the delivery of special forces units consisting of 20 people with weapons, equipment, and gear, which means saboteurs behind enemy lines.
There is nothing to protect in Striletska Bay, only the old debris of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, whose ships were moved to Sevastopol Bay in 2023. The only military facility on the shore is the Nakhimov Black Sea Higher Naval School, the Telegram channel added.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that in Sevastopol on the night of August 21, a military unit of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (GRU) was hit.
