Zelensky appoints new Head of Pokrovsk District State Administration

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Volodymyr Kolosov as Head of the Pokrovsk District State Administration in the Donetsk region.

According to Ukrinform, the corresponding Decree No. 101/2025-rp dated August 23 has been published on the President’s website.

“Appoint Volodymyr Kolosov as Head of the Pokrovsk District State Administration of Donetsk region,” the document states.

As reported, in March, the government approved the dismissal of Volodymyr Zamotaiev from the position of Head of the Pokrovsk District State Administration of the Donetsk region.

In May, the Cabinet of Ministers approved Kolosov’s candidacy for the position of Head of the Pokrovsk DSA.

Since 2023, Kolosov has served as First Deputy Head of the Pokrovsk DSA. After Zamotaiev’s dismissal, he acted as the interim head of the administration.
