HUR shows ground robot reconnaissance in Sumy region on Independence Day

To mark Ukraine’s Independence Day, soldiers from the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) conducted a reconnaissance mission using a ground-based robotic system in the Sumy region, on territory temporarily occupied by Russian forces. The national flag was mounted on the robot.

According to Ukrinform, HUR released a relevant video.

“During a reconnaissance mission on temporarily occupied territory in the Sumy region, HUR special forces attached the national blue-and-yellow flag to a ground robotic system,” the post reads.

“The flag-bearing robot, equipped with a combat module, successfully carried out a raid through the designated area and delivered a ‘festive barrage’ of fire against Russian occupiers hiding in the tree lines,” HUR noted.

According to Ukrinform, HUR soldiers also distributed leaflets addressed to Russian invaders on Ukraine’s Independence Day.
