Russian forces launch 500 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region in 24 hours

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces launched 500 strikes targeting 13 settlements across the Zaporizhzhia region.

This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“Russian troops carried out four airstrikes on Bilohirya, Poltavka, and Chervone. Three multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) attacks hit Plavni and Mala Tokmachka. A total of 327 unmanned aerial vehicles (mostly FPV drones) targeted Zaporizhzhia, Bilenke, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Additionally, 166 artillery strikes were recorded in Plavni, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Preobrazhenka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne,” the statement reads.

Authorities received 19 reports of damage to residential buildings and outbuildings. No civilian casualties were reported.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, the warhead of an enemy drone was discovered last night in the Komunarskyi district of Zaporizhzhia. Specialists were dispatched to the scene.
