
Russian troops fired on the village of Slatyne in the Kharkiv region with multiple launch rocket systems, injuring a resident and damaging private houses, a gas pipeline, and power lines.
This was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Derhachi Military Administration, Viacheslav Zadorenko, according to Ukrinform.
“At 12:50 p.m., the Russian army struck Slatine with MLRS. As a result of the strikes, a resident born in 1958 was wounded, and at least two private houses, a gas pipeline system, and a power line were damaged,” Zadorenko said.
He noted that the woman suffered a shrapnel wound to her arm and that ambulance doctors are providing assistance to the victim. Energy and gas workers are inspecting the damage to the networks.
According to preliminary information, Russian invaders fired two missiles, one of which hit a densely populated residential area where civilians live, and the other fell on the outskirts of the village.
As reported by Ukrinform, on August 24, one person was killed and six others were injured as a result of shelling in the Kharkiv region.
