Russians attack Dnipropetrovsk region throughout day, casualties reported

Russian forces attacked Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of Dnipropetrovsk region throughout the day with guided aerial bombs, attack drones, and heavy artillery.

According to Ukrinform, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported the attacks on Telegram.

“Throughout the day, the Russians have been terrorizing Nikopol district. The enemy used FPV drones and heavy artillery against settlements in the district. It was loud in Nikopol, Myriv, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, and Pokrovske communities,” he said.

Two people were injured as a result of the attacks. A 65-year-old man was hospitalized with blast trauma and shrapnel wounds; his condition is of moderate severity. Another man, aged 38, sought medical assistance on his own and received treatment; he will continue recovery on an outpatient basis.

The strikes damaged two private houses, an outbuilding, a garage, a gas station, a disused building, several cars, and a gas pipeline. Dry grass also caught fire which was extinguished.

In the morning, the enemy also hit Malomykhailivka community in Synelnykove district with guided aerial bombs, damaging nearly 30 private houses.

In addition, Russian troops used UAVs to strike Mezhova community, damaging one private house and setting another on fire.

As reported earlier, Russian forces struck two districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging an apartment building and a farm.
