The Kyiv bureau of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) sustained damage during a Russian attack on August 28.
That is according to RFE/RL’s official website, Ukrinform reports.
Several windows were shattered in parts of the newsroom, and some equipment was damaged. Fortunately, no staff members were injured.
Security camera footage circulating on social media shows that two missiles struck civilian structures located very close to the RFE/RL office, causing significant blasts nearby.

RFE/RL President and CEO Stephen Capus said that although the RFE/RL office was damaged, none of the employees were harmed. He added that the RFE/RL team’s thoughts are with the families of those killed and injured in these attacks, as well as with the Ukrainian rescue workers.
The office of the Ukrainska Pravda news outlet was also damaged during the massive Russian strike on Kyiv.
