Russia suffered approximately 1,080,480 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and August 29, 2025, with 850 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine’s defense forces have destroyed 11,143 (+4) Russian tanks, 23,191 (+6) armored fighting vehicles, 32,125 (+61) artillery systems, 1,476 (+2) multiple rocket launchers, 1,213 (+1) anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 3,626 (28) cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 422 warplanes, 340 helicopters, 54,375 (+414) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 60,116 (+109) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 3,952 pieces of special equipment.
