
Ukrainian forces neutralized 46 out of 68 Russian drones launched at Ukraine overnight, while 22 drones struck targets at nine locations.
The Ukrainian Air Force Command reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
Starting at 20:00 on Thursday, August 28, Russian forces launched 68 Shahed-type UAVs and various drone decoys from Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The assault was repelled by Ukrainian aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups.
Preliminary data shows that as of 08:00 on Friday, 46 Shahed drones and other UAV decoys were destroyed or jammed over northern and eastern Ukraine. However, 22 enemy drones hit targets across nine locations in the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
