
As a result of a large-scale overnight attack on Zaporizhzhia, one person was killed and seven others were injured, including two children.
This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“One person has died, six others are injured, including one child,” the post reads.
Russian strikes destroyed private homes and damaged apartment buildings, a café, a car service station, and an industrial facility.
Meanwhile, the State Emergency Service (SES) reported on Telegram that two five-story apartment buildings and five private residential homes were hit. Fires broke out, and neighboring structures were also damaged.
According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Police, seven people were injured and one person was killed.
“On August 30, between 01:46 and 04:05, the occupiers attacked the regional center with seven missiles (type yet to be determined) and six UAVs, presumably of the Shahed type,” law enforcement officials stated.
The strikes targeted infrastructure facilities, private residential areas, and locations near apartment buildings.
Emergency services, medics, and bomb disposal units are working at the scene. All city emergency services have been mobilized to deal with the aftermath.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Zaporizhzhia was subjected to a large-scale attack involving drones and ballistic missiles.
