The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has discovered an arms cache in the Svatove district, Luhansk region.
The intelligence agency said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“The Security Service found another enemy arms cache during counter-subversive measures in the front-line areas of the Luhansk region,” the post said.
The ammunition was found in a village in the Svatove district, located three kilometers from the line of contact.
According to operational data, the hideout was set up by Russian forces before they escaped a Ukrainian counteroffensive.
The arms cache was placed in a dilapidated building of an abandoned household.
SBU employees seized an RPG-22 anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade, an RGSh-1 rocket-propelled assault grenade, a Kalashnikov submachine gun, four Kalashnikov assault rifles, 32 F-1 grenades, 20 RGO grenades, and four boxes of more than 4,000 rounds of various calibers.
