Russian troops are deploying a tank brigade near Avdiivka in Donetsk region, which will soon be used to attack the positions of the Defense Forces.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Oleksiy Dmytrashkivsky, head of the joint press center of the Tavrian direction Defense Forces, on the air of the United News telethon.
“There were 494 attacks over the last day. In fact, the enemy has returned to the number of attacks that was in February. There is information about the movement of a tank brigade to the area of Avdiivka. We should probably expect the enemy to use this equipment in the near future, as the enemy has been storming positions without using any equipment for the last two days. Perhaps this equipment has just arrived to reinforce the units, because without armored vehicles, assault actions are meaningless, it is just the elimination of personnel,” explained Dmytrashkivsky.
He said that the invaders continue to shell Vuhledar with artillery and rocket artillery, and also suggested that the enemy will try to conduct assault operations.
According to the spokesman, over the past day the enemy lost more than 200 people killed and wounded, and 20 pieces of equipment.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated about 187,080 Russian invaders from February 24, 2022, to April 24, 2023, including 660 people in the past 24 hours alone.
