The scale of the missile attack that Russia carried out on Ukraine at night was not as massive as it was before.
Spokesman for the Air Force Command Yurii Ihnat said this on the air of the national telethon “United News”, Ukrinform reports.
“The scale is not as massive, let’s say, as before. We have information that is still being clarified. We will definitely publish the results of military strikes on Ukraine. There were Shaheds and takeoffs of Tu-22M aircraft, as we reported earlier. There were missile launches from the Azov Sea, and there was also a possible use of MiG-31. Now the information is being clarified,” Ihnat informed.
According to him, the northern, southern, and eastern regions were threatened by using ballistic weapons at night. Currently, Ukraine is also clarifying the information on whether there were “Kinzhal” – it will be made public later.
“Missiles, as a rule, always fly low. They are designed to overcome the air defense system. It is difficult for those who see the missiles to immediately determine the distance. Because visually it seems that it is low, but there can be hundreds of meters. Therefore, we will report on the missiles that flew over Zaporizhzhia NPP and other regions a little later in order not to mislead people and provide accurate information,” the spokesman said.
As reported, Odesa was attacked at night by Shahed-136 drones, three of which destroyed air defense forces, and one hit a warehouse. Russian armed forces also fired missiles at the Lozuvata community in Kryvyi Rih district. The shelling damaged ten private residential buildings, an outbuilding, two garages, two cars, a gas pipeline, a water supply system, and power lines.
