Sybiha holds phone call with Blinken to coordinate positions ahead of major international events

Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha held a phone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to coordinate positions ahead of important international events.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy wrote this on social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.

“I spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to reaffirm the Ukraine-U.S. strategic partnership and coordinate positions ahead of major international events,” he posted.

The minister added he briefed Blinken about Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy grid and the country’s key military and energy needs.

“Grateful to the U.S. for its leadership and support,” Sybiha posted.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha had a previous phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on October 3.
