Russians launch 424 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region over past day

On October 16, the Russian forces launched 424 strikes on eight settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.

Ivan Fedorov, Chief of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

According to Fedorov, the Russian forces launched 10 airstrikes on Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka.

A total of 263 drones of various types attacked Lobkove, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Levadne.

Fedorov noted that 15 rocket artillery strikes were carried out on Novodanylivka, Levadne, and Novoandriivka.

The Russian army launched 136 artillery strikes on the areas of Lobkove, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Levadne.

Thirteen reports of damage to residential buildings and infrastructure were received, but no injuries among residents were reported, the regional chief emphasized.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, since Russian air attacks began on September 22, 162 apartment buildings and 906 private homes have been damaged in Zaporizhzhia.
