Last day, the energy sector restored electricity supply to 4,747 consumers who had been in blackout as a result of hostilities. Imports from five countries are scheduled for Sunday.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, Ukrinform saw.
“Last day, the energy sector restored power supplies to 4,747 consumers who had been cut off as a result of hostilities,” the statement says.
The Ministry of Energy emphasized that work to tackle the consequences of the missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian power system on November 28 is in progress.
Today, the transmission system operator is temporarily applying hourly outage schedules. The current schedules are posted on the official resources of regional power distribution system operators.
It is noted that power supply restrictions are not implied to critical infrastructure enterprises, as well as enterprises that import more than 60% of electricity in accordance with the government resolution.
The Ministry of Energy calls on consumers to use electricity rationally, which helps reduce the load on the power grid.
Today, imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and Moldova are scheduled to the tune of 13,000 MWh at a capacity of 1,046 MW.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Ministry of Energy has made changes to the rules of hourly power outage schedules.
