On the morning of January 16, Russian troops fired on the village of Yantarne, Kherson region, injuring a 92-year-old local resident.
That is according to the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
“The elderly woman who was injured this morning as a result of the Russian shelling of Yantarne sought medical attention at a hospital. The 92-year-old local resident was diagnosed with explosive trauma and concussion,” the report says.
It is noted that the victim’s condition is assessed as moderate. She is currently receiving medical care.
As Ukrinform reported, three people were killed as a result of shelling in the Kherson region on January 15.
