On the night of January 20, Russian troops shelled the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region using heavy artillery and Grad multiple launch rocket systems.
Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, posted this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
The Russian invaders hit Nikopol and the Marhanets and Pokrovsk communities. An industrial enterprise, a gymnasium, four high-rise buildings and a power line were damaged.
Fortunately, there were no civilian casualties.
He also reported that air defense units destroyed one Russian UAV over the region.
“Today is a day of mourning in Kryvyi Rih for the victims of the missile attack on the city that took place on January 17. The enemy attack killed five people,” Lysak said.
