At least 16 people, including a two-month infant, were injured in the Russian strike targeting Zaporizhzhia. A 47-year-old man was killed in the attack.
Among those affected are also rescuers from the Emergency Service, regional administration chief Ivan Fedorov reported on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.
“Among the injured are four employees of the State Emergency Service. They have been taken to hospital,” he wrote.
As per tentative reports, residential buildings were damaged, windows were shattered and a roof of one of those buildings was smashed.
“Five people are in grave condition… Medics assess the condition of five more people as moderate. Among them are two employees of the State Emergency Service. The others will go for outpatient treatment after medics provide first aid,” the official specified.
Fedorov added that among those injured is a two-month-old infant, who was also hospitalized.
Before that, at least four explosions had been heard in Zaporizhzhia. “More people could be under the rubble. All emergency services scrambled to the scene,” Fedorov informed.
Earlier, an air raid raid alert was declared in the capital and a number of regions, including in Zaporizhzhia.
