In Kyiv region, three people were killed in a Russian drone attack on the night of January 24. The debris fell in two districts.
According to Ukrinform, the National Police reported this on Facebook.
“Unfortunately, three people were killed. A 26-year-old man also suffered burns. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he is being provided with all necessary assistance,” the report says.
It is noted that as of 7:30 a.m. in one of the districts, damage was recorded to one apartment building, in which 11 apartments were damaged. In addition, eight private houses, three cars, a shop, an outbuilding and a fence were damaged in another district of the region.
The mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, added in his Telegram that the body of a dead woman was found while clearing the rubble of a house damaged by a nighttime UAV attack.
The victims of the attack were a married couple: a man born in 1966 and a woman born in 1965.
In turn, the State Emergency Service reported that in Fastiv district, UAV debris hit a 10-story residential building, causing a fire and destruction on the 6th and 7th floors. 150 residents were evacuated. An injured man from the 6th floor and a trapped woman from the 9th floor were rescued. The body of a dead man born in 1988 was found.
There are 49 rescuers and 13 pieces of equipment at the scene, and psychologists from the State Emergency Service are providing support to the victims. An invincibility point has been deployed.
In Brovary, UAV debris destroyed a residential building and caused a fire. The fire was extinguished at 04:14 on an area of 120 square meters. The body of a deceased man born in 1966 was found, the search for his wife born in 1965 is ongoing.
As Ukrinform reported, on the night of January 24, explosions were heard in the Kyiv region, and air defense was operating.
