Ukraine’s national postal operator Ukrposhta JSC and the British postal service, Royal Mail, have signed a cooperation agreement, providing for a reduction in the cost of shipments weighing up to 1 kilogram for sellers on such platforms as Amazon, Etsy and Ebay.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrposhta JSC CEO Igor Smelyansky on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“From now on, thanks to the bilateral agreement signed between Ukrposhta and Royal Mail, our irrepressible exporters selling goods on Amazon, Etsy and Ebay will save 15% on the delivery of shipments weighing up to 1 kilogram to Great Britain, using the ‘Small Package PRIME’ service,” the report states.
Additionally, through cooperation with DHL, the delivery time to the United Kingdom has significantly accelerated, taking at least four days.
According to Smelyansky, more than 60,000 Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises currently use Ukrposhta’s services. The company delivers more than 37 million international parcels annually.
A reminder that earlier Ukrposhta JSC and Canada Post signed an agreement to extend preferential tariffs on shipments.
