Norwegian diplomats were caught in the epicenter of a Russian missile strike on Odesa late on Friday, January 31.
Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“An absolutely deliberate strike by Russian terrorists. Fortunately, there were no fatalities. There were injuries, and medical assistance was provided. Norwegian diplomatic representatives were among those at the epicenter of the strike,” Kiper wrote.
Authorities are currently working to clarify all the circumstances surrounding the attack.
“We are doing everything we can to assist those affected,” Kiper added.
Earlier reports said that Russian forces targeted Odesa’s historic center with three ballistic missiles, hitting a hotel.
