A morning attack on the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv has left one woman dead and five others injured.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Preliminary reports indicate that the strike on Kharkiv was carried out by a Shahed-type UAV. As a result of the attack, one person was killed, and four others were injured,” Terekhov said.
Meanwhile, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, clarified that the victim was a woman around 60 years old. He later added that the total number of injured had risen to five.
Additionally, according to police reports, overnight missile strikes targeted the villages of Kopanky and Hlazunivka in the Izium district, Kharkiv region. No casualties have been reported so far.
Earlier reports indicated two people had been injured in the enemy strike on Kharkiv’s Kholodnohirskyi district on the morning of February 1.
