Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has arrived in Ukraine for a visit.
As reported by Ukrinform, Grossi announced his visit on the social media platform X.
“On my 11th visit to Ukraine since the war began, I am heading to Kyivska substation, critical for the safety of Ukraine’s nuclear power, to assess damage and help prevent a nuclear accident,” he stated.
According to the IAEA chief, “an increasingly fragile grid poses a growing risk to all nuclear power plants, not just ZNPP.”
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko emphasized that the systematic documentation by IAEA experts of violations affecting critical substations following Russian shelling is crucial for holding the aggressor accountable.
