Kherson region reveals aftermath of Russian attacks, daily wounded toll rises to 10

In the Kherson region, 10 people were injured and one person was killed in Russian attacks over the past day.

This was reported by the Communication Department of the National Police, Ukrinform reports.

“The Kherson police are documenting the consequences of the latest Russian attacks: one person was killed and 10 wounded,” the statement said.

According to law enforcement officials, yesterday Russian troops attacked settlements in Kherson and Beryslav districts with artillery, multiple rocket launchers, aircraft and UAVs.

Kherson, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Mykilske, Pryozerne, Zelenivka, Naddnipryanske, Shyroka Balka, Molodizhne, Inzhenerne, Beryslav, Mylove, Novooleksandrivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Havrylivka and Zmiivka were under enemy fire over the course of the day.

As a result of these attacks, 10 private houses, two cars, and a gas station were damaged.

Russian troops shelled Mylove with artillery, killing a 71-year-old man. In addition, the invaders dropped explosives from a UAV on the residential area of Mykilske, injuring a 72-year-old man. He was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his legs.

In Stanislav, a 71-year-old woman was injured in a Russian drone attack. She was taken to hospital with an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to her legs. Later, the occupants hit a private house with an FPV drone, causing damage to it.

“In Beryslav, a 54-year-old man was seriously injured as a result of an explosive drop from a UAV. He was hospitalized with an explosive injury, contusion and traumatic amputation of a part of his leg. Russian troops hit Novovorontsovtsi with an FPV drone, damaging a gas station,” the NPU reported.

In Shyroka Balka, Russian troops dropped explosives from a UAV on a postal service vehicle, no one was injured. Artillery fire damaged four private houses in Zelenivka, Bilozerka, Pryozerne and Chervonyi Mayak.

In Tekstylne, a Russian drone attacked a civilian car. A 36-year-old driver and a 52-year-old passenger were injured as a result of the strike. The woman was hospitalized with an explosive injury and a shrapnel hip wound, while the driver suffered an explosive injury and an acute stress reaction.

An 85-year-old local resident was injured in her own home by enemy shelling of Antonivka, sustaining mine-blast trauma and contusion.

“Two men aged 53 and 59 were hit by an enemy drone near a local store. Both of them had explosive injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds to their legs. A private house and a car were damaged. The Russians fired at the settlement with multiple rocket launchers, damaging two private houses,” the statement said.

In the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, a 28-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man were injured by artillery shelling and taken to hospital with acute sensorineural hearing loss. A private house was damaged by a drone attack.

At the sites of the shelling, police investigative teams collected material evidence and documented the consequences of the hostile attacks by Russian troops.

Over the past day, the police responded to 452 statements and reports from citizens about criminal offenses and other incidents. Fifteen proceedings were opened under Article 438 “War Crimes” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported, a woman and two men were injured in Antonivka as a result of a drone attack.
